A Day of Rest

God rested on the seventh day, so did we! We took a taxi to Cadzadilla de la Cuez. Arrived here around 11.30am and sat and watched pilgrims trekking in looking very hot and dusty. Part of the route here runs along a very busy road so safety and rest was a good reason to taxi. Plus after 7 days walking we had earned a break. The place where we are staying is pretty basic and remote - on again, off again water supply. Our dorm is on the second floor, the bathroom (1 for the whole hostal) is on the ground floor at the back of a cafe. Midnight trips to the loo will be well timed. But the people are lovely. Listened to the rugby so have been able to give the Aussies here some cheek.
