Gosh this is a very vibrant city. I am staying in the San Miguel area right opposite the Mercado San Miguel food market. We had a quick look in it last night and will explore it further today. The range of fresh food available was incredible. This area has lots of little plazas where people gather for food. We collected our credentials from the Parish of Santiago and San Juan Bautiste, Association of Santiago, then joined others in a plaza for a beer, fried calamari, and deep fried cauliflower bites. Today we are going to explore a couple of museums before getting a train to Burgos tomorrow. I got a Camino shell for Georgia to hang from my pack with a shell I bought back from my first Camino.
