A gentle day on the camino, not a cloud in the sky and another magnificent sunrise. But first a little more about the modernistic church in La Virgen Del Camino. It was built in 1961 on an old 17th century church. The architect was a Dominican from Portugal. As I suspected the altar piece is from an 18th century church. Walked to Hospital de Obrigio this morning, mostly alongside paths parralel to the road. Managed to capture a photo of a wee butterfly and later some town cats and kittens. Went to 8am Mass in Villadaganos, except it wasn't happening, had left over pizza for lunch along the way. This village, Hospital de Obrigio, has a wonderful old medieval bridge, the first we have seen on this camino. We did manage to get Mass here. Went for a walk around the village but not much to see so ducked into a very busy restaurant for a dessert and juice. Sat watching the kitchen service as they fired out plate after plate of what appeared to be some sort of stew. The restaurant was backed with families. Splurged, and had all my clothes laundered. Now I'm like new!

Community dinner tonight. Yesterday I ment three ladies two of whom are from NZ. I shared the purpose of the camino, and Georgia's Story on the website. Within a short time they had made a generous donation. Thanks Yvonne. Tina and Chelsey, kia haha and buen camino. Please keep sharing the website and Georgia's Camino pages. 1
