Exploring Lisbon with Jay.

I love it when your room rate includes breakfast. Jay and I took advantage of the variety of food on offer. Then we walked to Castel Sao Jorge, climbed the ramparts to survey our "kingdom". Jay loved the peacocks.

There was one bird that if he charged for photos he would be a very rich peacock. Walked down to the cathedral for Palm Sunday Mass. Jay followed the story of the Passion of Christ in English on my phone. It was long. A very male dominated hierarchical Mass. Even the Prayers of the Faithful were read by a deacon. Lots of red and gold embroidery! After Mass we hired a tuktuk and had a tour of the city. A great driver who waited while got food and very kindly dropped us at Decathalon so I could get new poles, mine were too long for my pack. Two poles for Eur34. Walked back to the hotel stopping for ice cream and coffee. Just back from a short walk and dinner.
