Pepper Steak & Parades

Walking is a great time for sharing stories, some of which might be true! Jay and I have shared a number of tales of family events over the past few days. I did warn Jay that a myth is a true story that never really happened! One thing I did share that is true is that Pop's favorite food was pepper steak. Last night in the medieval town of Tomar Jay tried their first pepper steak. The verdict - the steak was good the sauce not so. My mustard steak was great. Today we breakfasted while watching the Easter Sunday parade, then walked up to the castle only to find it closed. Back down to the town, tried to leave Jay in the stocks but their arms are skinny enough that they

could easily escape. Yesterday saw a replica of an ancient Arabian water wheel. We are about to go and explore a local contemporary art museum. Happy Easter everyone. Carol, sorry about the Warriors.
