The Incredible Leon Cathedral

Definitely a day to rest and recover. After a very disturbed night I eventually got to sleep around 3.30am. Building noises, a stuffy room, and blood!!! I had knocked one of my injuries and woke to find blood all over my face. Anyway all was well, went to another Farmacia and got better ointment, it smells very fishy and is called Halibut! It seems to be working. Did a tour of the cathedral so will let the pictures tell the story. The stained glass windows are incredible. There are three rose windows. Enjoyed a lovely salad for lunch and had planned to go to a free concert at the cathedral but I think half of Leon were going to, so came back to our hostel. Had mussels for dinner, small and perfectly formed, not a patch on NZ mussels. Off early in the morning to Virgen Del Camino then walking to Villadangos del Paramo.
